The systems used are FBI, Security & Energy Technologies Corp which monitors the nursing floor and the terrace unit twenty four hours a day. Call bells and pendants are given to all residents based on their ability to use it. The emergency call system is serviced by the American Medical Alert (AMAC). The assisted living unit requires residents to sign out before leaving the building, so that they can be accounted for or located when needed. The facility is well secured by a 24 hour guard and gates all around the campus.
Families and friends are encouraged to visit with you, unless prohibited by the attending physician’s written order, or the resident’s request. Visiting hours are daily; check with Charge Nurse (who is in charge of the floor that particular day) for specific needs. You must notify the staff if you leave the building with a resident.
