The Administrator is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia after successful completion of a training program and two written examinations. Continuing education is a requirement of renewal of the license. The Administrator oversees the daily operations of all departments in The Johnson Center.
The Admissions Administrator will assist with the move-in process, provide a tour of the facility on the day of admission, and will assist you with the completion of forms. The Assistant Administrator also oversees all non-clinical services in The Johnson Center (ie Activities, Social Services)
The Activity Coordinator schedules events and activities and oversees the activity assistants and volunteers.
The Assisted Living Coordinator is a Virginia Licensed Practical Nurse who supervises the staff of Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, who are your primary caregivers on the Assisted Living Unit. The Assisted Living Coordinator oversees the staff to insure the quality of care for all residents.
A representative of the Business Office is available to discuss bills, payments, and other financial matters.
The chaplain is available to provide pastoral support to you and your family. Services include prayer, spiritual guidance, presence, communion, and bereavement counseling.
The Certified Dietary Manager, under the supervision of a Dining Services Director and Registered Dietitian, plans and oversees all meal preparations, monitors acceptance, and provides nutritional snacks in accordance with your physician's orders. The Director of Nursing is a Virginia Licensed Registered Nurse who supervises the staff of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants, who are your primary caregivers on the Nursing floor. The Director of Nursing oversees the staff to insure the quality of care for all residents.
The Medical Director is a licensed physician who oversees the clinical practices of The Johnson Center.
The Rehab program manager who is a licensed professional from one of the three disciplines-Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Language Pathology along with other licensed physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists are available and provide therapy with current physician orders. The Social Services Coordinator serves as a liaison between you, your family, and the professional team. As your advocate, the Social Services Coordinator responds to your individual preferences, requests, and needs. The Social Services Coordinator is available to assist you and your family members and can address your questions and/or concerns. The Social Services Coordinator interacts within the community to provide you and your family with appropriate services, and to facilitate discharge planning.
